Ryan Polnik Appointed General Manager

The Board of Directors of Killarney-Cartwright Co-op is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Polnik to the position of General Manager of Killarney-Cartwright Co-op, effective February 21, 2012. Ryan comes to us from Federated Co-operatives Limited in Saskatoon where he currently holds the position of Retail Advisor.  
Ryan commenced his employment with the Co-operative Retail System in 1995 as a Home Centre Clerk with Pembina Co-op. In 2000 Ryan commenced his Home Centre Manager Training with Neepawa Co-op. Upon completion of his training, Ryan accepted the Hardware Supervisor position with Sun Valley Co-op and in 2002 Ryan was promoted to the position of Home Centre Manager, a position he held for the next four years. In 2006 Ryan was accepted onto the General Manager One To One Training program at Heritage Co-op and upon completion Ryan accepted the General Manager position with Spiritwood Co-op. Ryan worked with Spiritwood Co-op for the next three years before taking on new challenges as Retail Advisor with Federated Co-operatives Limited in Saskatoon, the position Ryan currently holds.
Ryan replaces Dave Ruf, who was recently promoted to General Manager of Carman Co-op. While congratulating Ryan to his new position, the Board also wishes to express appreciation to Dave for his many contributions to our retail and community.
